It has been estimated that by the year 2020 50% of the construction workforce will be comprised of women. In addition, the current construction labor pool in general severely lacks quality and training. It has also been determined that a training program can boost morale, raise revenue and improve retention rates.
Apprenticeship offers a highly tangible alternative to college and is increasing in popularity and variety every month. In addition, through our electrical apprenticeship program students do obtain college credit that can be applied to a degree in Electrical Theory and Applications.
Our goal is to train and develop a skilled and diverse workforce to meet the needs of the local construction industry. "To develop, promote and administrate management and craft training opportunities for the local construction industry. To develop a qualified and diverse workforce."
