Companies around the world understand the importance of loyalty and reward programs. These programs let customers earn points when making purchase online and offline, and customers can redeem those points for gifts cards, discounts and free products. The website MyVegas launched its own reward program to treat those who play online games through the site, and one player used the points he earned to treat his wife to a once in a lifetime event.
Eric Wiebusch was just another online gambler when he created an account on the MyVegas website. MyVegas lets players attach their Facebook pages and other social networking accounts to the website and share their wins and losses with family and friends. The website offers the same games that players would find in traditional casinos, including multiple slots and blackjack games. Every time account holders play games, they earn points that they can redeem for hotel rooms and other events in Las Vegas.

After trying a few of the slots on that website, he found his way to the MyVegas website. Though he noticed the points accumulating on his account, he wasn’t sure what he would use those points for in the future. Wiebusch, who lives in Seattle, Washington, decided to keep accumulating the points and see how many he could win before his wife’s upcoming birthday. When he finally cashed out, he decided on a trip to the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
Wiebusch became the first player in the history of the website to earn enough points for the rewards package. The package comes with a free trip to the Bellagio, free seating at one of the top attractions in the city and other perks that he could share with three other people. Wiebusch later admitted that he surprised his wife with the package and surprised her even further when he informed her that he won the trip just for playing online casino games.
When MyVegas first launched, it partnered with Las Vegas hotels, resorts and casinos. Players can cash in their points at any time and redeem those points for free hotel rooms and other perks. The Bellagio package is only available for the top players, and Wiebusch remains the only player in history to win that
